Birdsong Cottage – Website Design & Direct Booking Integration
Birdsong is a beautifully appointed self-catering cottage nestled on a generous plot in Caledon Street, one of Stanford’s most desirable locations. With its quality finishes and tranquil garden setting, it offered guests a peaceful retreat within walking distance of the village centre.
The owners opted not to list the property on third-party accommodation platforms, preferring to manage bookings independently. With this in mind, I designed a website focused on strong SEO to help attract organic traffic. A custom booking system was integrated directly into the site, allowing the owner or manager to receive, approve, and confirm reservations—all from a single, easy-to-manage dashboard.
This approach gave the owners full control over their bookings and guest communication while creating a seamless experience for potential visitors.
